パンダＶＩＰ来日　特別機に特製輸送箱

パンダが上野にやってきた！　上野動物園（東京都台東区）で２年１０カ月ぶりに飼育されるジャイアントパンダのつがいが２１日深夜、同園に到着した。

特製の輸送箱に入れられ、中国四川省雅安市の施設からはるばる約４０００キロ、約３０時間かけての「新居」入り。会見した小宮輝之園長（６３）によると、２頭はやや疲れた様子だというが、健康状態には問題はなく元気だという。

　　

編集後記

中国のパンダ外交はまだまだ健在のようですね。昨夜の報道番組では冒頭で取り上げられており、パンダの到着がそんなに大ニュースなのか、とびっくりしました。

ただ、英語ニュース内でも触れたように、年間8000万円を超えるという巨額のレンタル料には唖然とします。果たして中国にそこまで支払う必要があるのでしょうか・・・？

今後、上野動物園の来場者数がどこまで増え、このレンタル料を補って余りある収益を生み出すのかどうか気になります。

そういえば都知事選もまもなくですね。私はパンダよりもこっちのほうに関心がありますが・・・^^;
