編集後記

きのうの午後は大統領選のゆくえが気になり、CNNの生中継に釘付けでした。そして、結果が判明した直後、映し出されたホワイトハウス周辺は群集の大歓声に包まれてものすごい熱気・・・！

中でも、アフリカ系アメリカ人の人たちが涙ぐんでいた様子が印象的でした。感無量だったんでしょうね。

日本の政治システムとは根本的に違うものの、国民的大イベントとなった今回の大統領選をうらやましく感じました。

このところ、毎年9月に首相がころころ入れ替わるわが国の現状、なんとかしたいもんです^^;
